Bits and pieces

The hardest jigsaw ever...according to Äiti!
My Christmas present from Amelia arrived today. It was a 3D jigsaw with 100 pieces. Äiti said it was really hard as the pictures on each piece kept moving about for her, I found it quite easy but a lot of fun. I love how all the fish look like they are jumping out the picture and moving about. Thank you Amelia and Oliver! Äiti and Daddy got a funny Finnish book, the front cover looks like our family!

The other day we all went for a walk...including the cats! We walked about a mile along the river with the cats chasing us! We thought we should turn around and come home in case they got lost! We stopped at the village playground for a little play- the cats enjoyed the park too!

I went to the zoo yesterday. We took Granny Val and Michael with us. It was a freezing day but we saw lots of animals. The Ocelots, Meerkats and Lemurs were our favourites. I've had a reward chart for a while and I finally finished it the other day, my reward was a little toy; I chose a baby tiger cub.

Here I am in my bedroom reading! I have been able to read in my head for years but not really realised it... over the last few days I have been reading lots of books in my head and even read 57 pages of one book on the way to the zoo!

Sylvie and baby Davy came to visit at the weekend. I had a hunger meltdown just as we were about to eat. After a good scream I cheered up a lot and had fun. Sylvie and I were dancing and doing gymnastics in my bedroom! I got a brilliant microscope from her that makes everything look much BIGGER!

I am seeing my friend Tyan soon. I wrote her a little letter today without any help. I think my writing and punctuation is very good! It says "To Tyan. Do you want to go for a swim with me? Love Sophie"

We're so glad you like the puzzle, Sophie! I also love the picture of the walk with cats.

Amelia looked at the blog and claimed it was her lying on the ground reading!
