One of my 'Finnish' quirks is that I have never addressed anyone by their real name, with the exception of daddy and aiti. I would normally refer to people as 'this one', 'that one', 'thing' or 'the others'. I know exactly who people are, yet I refused to say their names...no-one has ever taken much notice of me, so I just did the same.
But.... last week I named my first person. I called Granny Val....Val!
I haven't ever read any character names in books (even though I can read most words), except Mog and Elmer. Today in the bookshop I read Peppa and George...another first!
I have a new bedroom! A few weeks ago I refused to sleep in my cot bed claiming it was too small. I slept in the spare room instead as the bed in there is much bigger. Aiti and daddy finally caved in and ordered me a new bed. Daddy painted my bedroom and aiti ordered 'accessories' from various places. Today we finished it. I helped add the stickers around the room as you can see! I like my new bed though I need a step to climb into it. I love having my bookshelf near by...this though is only a third of the books I own, the rest are located in various parts of the house. I am really pleased with my new room. 
It has been a very busy week again. On Monday I went to PlaySchool with aiti. On Tuesday I went to the library and then I went to have my speech assessed to see if I need speech therapy...which I do! On Wednesday I went to look at a school, I loved it so daddy signed me up for it. I then went to see Val and Michael. On Thursday I went to Monkey Music which was excellent. On Friday I was meant to go to Gymnastics except I fell asleep on the way there, the previous night I had slept 10pm to 6am and so was very tired. I went to Portsmouth yesterday and got new shoes and a new red panda fleece top. Today I went to Borders and Tescos and then I helped finish my room.
