Tonight, I went and found my 100th cache! I was so happy. My next aim is to get to 102 caches, then 200! I love cracking the codes, reading the GPS and looking for the treasure. I've walked well over 50 miles! I've found lots of fantastic new forests, parks, woods, springs and fields to explore. The funniest cache was when Mummy had to wade across a stream to get one. Today was the largest cache we've found, here is a photo of me with the ammo box.

Bike Riding
I am training for my triathlon. This means that I sometimes scoot to school and ride my bike after school. I'm getting so much faster on my bike...almost as fast as I was last summer. My confidence on the bike has returned!
Theo:
This is not a good picture of me, but I now get to ride on the back on Mummy's bike. I loved it, though I wasn't overly impressed with my helmet.

Dinosaur Fairies!
I love reading the Rainbow Magic Fairy Books, I've read nearly every single one but I was quite disappointed that there hasn't been a 'Dinosaur Fairies' series....so I wrote my own.
Here are my first 3 books.
Dipla the Diplodocus Fairy
It was a hot and sunny day at Rachel’s house. It was the Easter holidays and Kirsty was staying with Rachel for the rest of the week.
Kirsty said “do you think we’ll find Dipla’s diplodocus today?” They had to find Dipla’s diplodocus before the end of the easter holidays. Both girls shared a very special secret, they both touched the lockets around their necks that the Fairies had given them.
The girls made themselves into fairies by sprinkling fairy dust on themselves and then they were caught up in a whirlwind and were whisked off to fairy land to meet Dipla.
Dipla had a skirt on with diplodocuses around the edge of it. She also wore a t-shirt with diplodocuses around the collar and the sleeves. Her wand had pink diplodocus fairy dust on it. Dipla said that Jack Frost had stolen her Diplodocus called Belle. Jack Frost wants to keep the diplodocus in his ice castle because that is where the goblins and Jack Frost live.
Rachel and Kirsty had to go back to their real home so they could go back to what they were doing. They had been looking at an encyclopaedia of dinosaurs. There was a picture of the ice castle in the encyclopaedia. Kirsty and Rachel said that the diplodocuses might still be in there when they looked at the picture of the ice castle.
They then went back to FairyLand and had their first adventure to try and find Belle. They had to look everywhere with Dipla in FairyLand and the earth where they lived. They didn’t see something that was green in a bush, it wasn’t a leaf, it had a pointy nose so it had to be a goblin.
“Found you!” shouted Kirsty and Rachel. But that Goblin didn’t have Belle. So they found another green thing in the bush and that was a second goblin and this one had a diplodocus that was ... Belle!
Kirsty and Rachel managed to get a toy t-rex the size of a real one so that they could scare the goblins. The goblins got scared when the T-rex snapped at their eyes and pointy noses! The toy t-rex also stood in front of the goblins eyes, the goblins thought it was midnight. It wasn’t really midnight but the t-rex stood in front of them so they couldn’t see anything. Then Kirsty and Rachel told both goblins to go back to their ice castle. Belle and Dipla were very pleased to see each other.
Then Dipla and Belle, and Kirsty and Rachel all went back to FairyLand. Dipla said “Thank you for helping me get Belle back and away from the goblins”. Parry the Parasauralophus Fairy’s Parasauralophus who was called Flowers did a really loud Para noise “uhmmmmmmmmm” at the goblins in front of their eyes. They were so scared that they let the Diplodocuses and Flowers out.
Kirsty and Rachel then went back home to their real house.
“Now we have to help the other Dinosaur Fairies” they said.
Mammy the Mamenchisaurus Fairy
It was a cloudy but warm day. The girls were at Kirsty’s house having a bath just playing with their toy dinosaurs and fairies in the bubbly water. There was a large bubble and there was something inside it. The thing had wings that it flapped.
The girls said “we have to find Mamenchisaurus and all the other magic dinosaurs”. But then, the bubble burst and out popped Mammy. It was a real fairy and it flapped its wings. “I think that is Mammy” said Kirsty.
Mammy was as big as Rachel’s hand. She was wearing a dress with all sorts of dinosaurs around the sleeves and the frilly bits which were at the bottom. The dress had stripes of every single colour in the rainbow. “Jack Frost has stolen my Mamenchisaurus ” called Mammy”, “he is trapped in the ice castle still. Can you help me, please”.
“Yes, we will, but how will we get to Fairy Land?” said Kirsty and Rachel.
“Get your pyjamas on quickly and then we can fly to FairyLand” said Mammy. The girls hopped out the bath and went to their bedroom and got their pyjamas on quickly. They then flew to FairyLand straight away.
Then they met Mammia’s friends who asked them to look for Mammia. The Mamenchisaurus looked just like Flowers, the magic Parasauralophus, but it wasn’t, it was Flower’s sister.
Something landed on Kirsty and Rachel, they managed to fly out of the way. Something else fell out of the tree onto Mammy but Mammy couldn’t fly away in time. Poor Mammy!
They looked up in the tree and saw some goblins and in the tree was Mammia stuck up there with the goblins. The goblins jumped down leaving Mammia behind. Then the goblins didn’t come back for Mammia, so then there was a chance for Mammy. Rachel and Kirsty tried to get Mammia down from the tree. Then they realised that it wasn’t Mammia, it was the magic brachiosaurus called Atlantic.
“Where is Mammia” they asked
“Stuck in Jack Frost’s ice castle chimney with his head poking out the top” said Atlantic. The girls flew to the ice castle without anyone noticing. They then saw the chimney with Mammia’s head poking out of the top. They flew to the chimney and pulled Mammia out, then took him back to see Mammy.
“I’m pleased to see you” they said to each other. “Thank you Rachel and Kirsty for helping us”.
Then in was time to go home, so they flew back to their bedroom and took their pyjamas off and got back in the bath.
“Now we just have to help the Brachiosaurus, the Parasauralophus and Compsognathus” said Rachel. “Don’t forget the Ichthyosaurus, the Steggie and the Apatosaurus” said Kirsty.
Tabby the T-Rex Fairy
One day Rachel and Kirsty were playing fairies in Rachel’s bedroom. They were pretending that Rachel’s bed was FairyLand, but then they got a call asking them to go to the real Fairy Land. They were caught up in a whirlwind and taken off to FairyLand.
They were met by Tabby the T-Rex Fairy. “Jack Frost has stolen my 2 baby t-rexs. The first one we are trying to find is called Rexy, the second one we want to find is called Tee. He took them because he wanted to put them in some ice to trap them forever. But they are magic so they are always hot and warm, they melted the ice and escaped, now no one knows where they are.”
Tabby was wearing a red t-shirt with T-Rexs on and leggings that had every single dinosaur on. There was writing on the leggings that said the names of every dinosaur period- Permian, Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous.
High, high up in the sky in FairyLand the Goblins were saying “you have to find the T-rex, you have to find a t-rex” to each other. They were fighting over who was going to find the T-rexs. They didn’t know where the baby T-Rexs were.
The baby T-Rexs were hiding in a deep spring. They were only babies so they couldn’t be seen. The Fairies looked everywhere and saw them in the spring. The goblins were watching the fairies searching for the t-rexs. Suddenly Rexy and Tee hopped out the spring. The goblins jumped off where they were sitting down and started chasing the t-rexs but the fairies got the babies. The baby t-rexs went to Rachel and Kirsty who took them back to the real world to keep them safe. Kirsty and Rachel have put the baby t-rexs in a very teeny box that is the size of a fairy to keep them safe. The box had lots of sellotape on it. The goblins get spotted whilst they are looking for the boxes so then they run very quickly away. Rachel and Kirsty then went back to FairyLand with the baby T-Rexs and gave them to Tabby.
“I’m so pleased to see you Rexy and Tee” said Tabby.
Then it was time for Rachel and Kirsty to go back to their real house and carry on playing pretend fairies. As soon as they got back to Rachel’s bedroom, her mum called them downstairs for dinner.
The End.

Not one, not two but three huge cats!
We took Marmalade to the Vet to be checked over. The Vet (who was also his breeder) said he was in great condition considering he'd been living rough for 6 months. The Vet said his fleas were probably from all the rabbits he'd been living off. He had a few pills and then a weigh in- he is 13lbs which is rather huge for a cat. He has been very happy just sleeping and eating this week.
Life with 3 cats is interesting. Mummy says it is like herding sheep, they all want to eat each others food, they all want to sleep on the same bit of bed, they all want cuddles, they all want to fight each other...it is going to be fun with 3 of them!
Theo:
I'm confused! One day there was Tiger, then there was Sir Percy and now there is this giant orange cat!
What are these?
Books books books!
I'm reading tonnes of books right now. In one week I read 20 rainbow Fairy books, plus some Astrosaur books. Here is my pile of books by my bed. Yesterday, Mummy had to steer me through the town as I was reading a Fairy book. I've just been introduced to Roald Dahl books- they are easy to read but a lot of fun.

Marmalade is HOME!!!
Sophie:
After 6 months, Marmalade is finally home!!!
We drove to a new area about 5 miles from our house and parked the car. We walked a good mile up a nice path and then we stopped for a rest. We decided to turn around and walk back to the car. All of a sudden we heard a 'meow meow meow'. I wondered what a cat was doing up in the middle of no where. Then, the cat sprang out of the bushes and it was Marmalade!
I gave him a stroke, then he lay on his back and I tickled his tummy. We then had to walk a mile back to the car. I let Marmalade chase my stick, Mummy carried him some of the way and he followed us all the way to the car. We then put him in the car and drove home.
Once home, he ate a whole tin of food and then introduced himself to Sir Percy. Tiger knew who he was already and they rubbed noses.
He was ravenous, but not thin. He was dirty but not overly so. He is covered in fleas though. We will take him to the vet tomorrow to be checked.
I am just so happy to see him. It has been 6 months since he went missing and now we've found him! I hope he sleeps on my bed tonight.

A busy day!
I woke up early but didn't get up until 7.30am as I was reading. We went for a 3 mile treasure hunt walk after breakfast, came home, did some maths, played Wedgits, beat Mummy at Safari Rush Hour, played Rush Hour, did Tangrams, had an intense story telling session, had lunch, played in garden, went shopping, bumped into Emily so had cake and juice in the cafe, went to gymnastics (I did not stop moving once
Theo:
I got up at 7.30am, though I woke for a quick feed at 5.30am. I then got pushed round a 3 mile route whilst Sophie skipped along, I ate Sophie's Wedgits, chewed her dinosaurs, listened to some books, ate sand and grass in the garden, got a lesson in fruit and vegetables from Sophie whilst shopping, socialised with Gym mums and a 15 month old, got to try new food at the restaurant and picked flowers in the garden center

Some funnies
I spent my bath time spelling lots of the chemical elements in the periodic table. Mummy asked me to spell 'hydrogen'. I replied "c-o-c-a-c-o-l-a". Mummy did a
"because coca-cola is made up of lots and lots of water, and water has hydrogen in it".
I got a new electric toothbrush recently. Mummy asked what it felt like
"I can't answer, my brain is being vibrated and I can't concentrate".
I went to Amelia's for a sleepover...
I sat on Amelia's legs. Amelia told me to get off. I said I wanted to stay. Lorraine asked me to ask Amelia if it was okay....
Sophie: "I have asked her. I just asked her in my head."
Lorraine: "Hmm, that must be hard for her to hear."
Sophie: "Not really, we talk to each other in our heads."
We then spent 20 minutes trying to read each other's minds.
At lunch we were trying again. I said "Amelia, try to guess what I am thinking." Amelia concentrated and said "You're thinking, 'I love poo!'" I smiled proudly. "I was!"
Sophie: Amelia's looking at Theo in a way that only I'm allowed to look at him.
Amelia: No I'm not, I'm looking at him in my own way.
Yes she was, I saw her looking at him that way.
No I wasn't.
Yes you were.
Wasn't.
Was.
etc etc
We were pretending to be young T-Rexes.
S: I'm a baby T-Rex.
A: I'm a newborn T-Rex.
S: I'm only one month old.
A: I'm only half a month old.
S: I'm only a day old.
A: I'm zero years and zero days old.
S: I'm going to be born tomorrow.
A: I'm going to be born in a week.
S: I'm going to be born in infinity.
A: No, I'm going to be born in infinity.
S: I am.
A: No, I am.
etc etc etc
More walking!
Yesterday we went for a very long walk- 5.5miles! I was quite tired by the end but I didn't complain. I really enjoyed splashing through the puddles and slipping in the mud! We found lots of interesting things. Theo slept most of the way- he was recovering from his hard weekend!
Today, we only did 2 miles of mud stomping!

We are famous!
We had a tree planting day at school recently. The trees are meant to symbolise the different generations so there were some very old people there plus all of Theo's friends. Theo made it onto the front cover of the school newsletter for his tree planing efforts and I made it into the local paper!

Some recent pictures
Some new pictures of us!
I have been showing Theo Kneebouncers.com- he quite likes it! I also got a PuzzleBall for my birthday, it was a lot of fun to put together. Theo has been having food for a week now, he tried a bit of Daddy's birthday cake. Theo likes demolishing the Lego things I build for him, it is a fun game!
